If your kids hate vegetables like mine, they won’t touch their vegetables with a ten foot pole. So how do we get them to eat all of the nutrients they need to grow healthy and strong? Below is my vegetable packed beef slider recipe that will fool even the biggest veggie hater in your house.
Since my children were born, I have always tried to introduce them to new vegetables. However, my youngest is immune to most of my charms when it comes to convincing him that vegetables are good. So until I am able to woo him, I have come up with a new method of getting him the nutrients he needs.
What is this Secret Method?
So what is this secret method, you ask? I hide vegetables in almost EVERYTHING, and he is none the wiser! So while I bide my time and continue to introduce him to vegetables, and the different methods of preparing them, I am still able to make sure he grows strong and healthy. In this post I am giving you my secret vegetable packed beef slider recipe! My sons love them! They’re small and delicious and of course packed with extra “love”.
First you need to pick your vegetable selection. For this recipe I chose Carrots, Zucchini, and Baby Spinach.
You will need a food processor for this next part. Put all three vegetables into the processor on high and mince all the vegetables.
Mix It Up
Next combine the beef and the minced vegetables. In my kitchen, I chose an organic grass-fed beef from a local market. This will also provide additional nutrients in the beef.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Once all the beef and vegetables are mixed thoroughly, you will make slider burgers.
Next cook the vegetable packed beef sliders on your stove and serve!
If your kids hate vegetables as much as mine do, with these sliders you can finally avoid battles, give them the foods they like, and get them the nutrition they deserve.
